PV Sindhu is looking to extend her dream in the Malaysia Open Super Series, after her victory with Caolina Marin, on Sunday. Which gets progressed at Kuching, Sarawak on Tuesday.
After winning at the Siri Fort Complex on Sunday, PV Sindhu left for Malaysia to oppose with Chen Yufei of China in the 1st round. She then beaten the player Chen, who is currently at No 13 and their previous meeting was at Macau open in 2015. In the second round, PV Sindhu will meet Jin Wei Goh. She will have to clear both the rounds easily. The big test for her will come in the quarterfinal where she will have to run into top seed and with world’s first Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei.
PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal will not face each other unlike India open as they are not in the same draw. And the second half looks stronger as Carolina Marin, Ratchanok Intanon, Nozomi Okuhara and He Bingjiao will be in the seed.
Saina also expressed that she is very happy to go smooth even after her right knee surgery. Besides PV Sindhu and Saina, PC Thulasi is the only female player in the unravel, but she will have to go through the qualifying stage to enter the main draw.
